We attended a white Christmas celebration at Movie World on the Gold Coast. We were able to walk through snow and feel snow drops on our head and hands. There was a great parade with all sorts of cartoon characters, Shalese got picked out of the crowd 3 times for a kiss from certain characters, dont know what was with that, maybe it could have been the large beaming smile on her face, full of excitment. Great night had by all!

ReplyDeleteSometimes while I was growing up, I would wake up to a 'White Christmas'. Everything would be white and wonderfully peaceful. It would be warm and cosy inside. When we came downstairs on Christmas morning, my Mum would have lit the real candles on the Christmas (pine) tree. There would be a wet sponge ready, just in case there was an accident.
Thanks for the reminding me of those times.
